Tallow Sun Shield

To Use:

Because of the natural tallow in this sun lotion, it may thin or thicken based on temperature. 

Apply to exposed area 15 minutes before sun exposure. Re-apply every 80 minutes. Water-resistant but it is recommended to re-apply after swimming or sweating for maximum protection. 

Active Ingredients:

• Coconut Oil*: Coconut oil is great for your skin. It’s moisturizing and has a natural SPF of about 4-5. It helps keep your skin soft and smooth.
• Non-Nano Zinc Oxide: This is a key ingredient for sun protection. It sits on top of your skin and reflects the sun’s rays. Non-nano means the particles are too large to be absorbed into your skin, making it safer.
• Grass-Fed & Finished Tallow*: Tallow from grass-fed cows is rich in vitamins A, D, and K. It’s super moisturizing and helps protect your skin from sun damage.
• Organic Pure Aloe Vera: although great for soothing and healing a sunburn, you won't need it with this lotion! Because our sun lotion has broad-spectrum (UVA & UVB) protection with 30% non-nano zinc oxide, the addtion of aloe creates a soothing and smooth consistency that enhances the existing SPF 30 protection with it's natural UV protective properties.
• Pure Shea Butter*: Shea butter is another moisturizing ingredient that helps soothe and protect your skin. It also has a natural SPF of about 6
• Red Raspberry Seed Oil*: Red Raspberry Seed Oil offers protection from the sun's radiation without any of the harmful ingredients found in commercial sunscreens. According to this Study the cold pressed raspberry seed oil offers natural UVA + UVB protection with 28-50 SPF protection factor against UVB rays and 8 SPF against UVA rays.
• Carrot Seed Oil*: Carrot seed oil has a high natural SPF and is packed with antioxidants that help repair and protect your skin.
• Aloe Vera* - hydrate and soothes skin.
• Amorphous Silica - naturally occuring minearl used to enhance SPF performance by scattering the UVA/UVB rays and provides a smoother, silkier feel while reducing white cast.
• Sunflower Lecithin* - by product of oil extraction from sunflower seeds. Lecithin moisturizes the skin, reducing irritation, and providing antioxidant protection against sun damage.
• Red Propolis* - a specific type of propolis, a resinous substance collected by bees, that is distinguished by its reddish color and unique chemical composition. Known for its effectiveness as broadspectrum UVA & UVB protection, this highly desired ingredient makes a great addition to your sun lotion. High in antioxidants and has anti-microbial and anti-inflammatory properties.
