Only use in a vessel that is approved for use as a wax melter. Do not leave unattended. Be sure to follow the included safety instruction that came with your wax melter.

1. Zero Chemical Compounds

Because beeswax candles are all-natural, they don’t produce any toxic byproducts when they burn. There are no regulations on disclosing candle ingredients, so the only way to be certain you are getting quality is to look for 100% beeswax candles.

2. Neutralize Odor & Purify Air

Burning beeswax add a naturally sweet aroma to your home. They are an easy way to deodorize the air without artificial fragrances. Unlike paraffin waxes – which release carcinogens like toluene and benzene into the air– beeswax can help to purify the air in your home. This incredibly versatile, natural resource releases negative ions into the air that binds to positively charged airborne particles such as dust and pollen, helping to neutralize pollutants and create a cleaner environment.

3. Environmental Friendliness 

100% beeswax candles are safe, environmentally friendly, and nontoxic. They are biodegradable and don’t undergo any chemical processing. They burn very clean with little smoke since they aren’t oil-based like paraffin candles.

All of our beeswax that is not sourced on our farm is purchased through a local apiary in 25lb bricks and is then melted and strained multiple times for clean, beautiful candles and melts!

4. Longer Burn Time 

Out of the natural waxes available, poured (not rolled) beeswax burns the longest. Created by honey bees to build honeycomb cells in their beehives, beeswax is harder and denser than other types of candle wax and burns at a higher temperature, making it the perfect choice for longer-lasting candles. The higher melting point creates a wax melt that melts slower, lasts longer and melts more evenly. If comparing roughly 100g of wax, poured beeswax would take approximately 29 hours to burn while Soy would burn for 18 hours. Paraffin would burn for only 15 hours while rolled beeswax for 14 hours.

5. Fragrance Ratio:

Do you ever smell a candle in the store and fall in love with the scent only to find that when it burns you can no longer smell it? Or can only get a good smell with your nose within an inch of the flame? This happens for many reasons but most often because of the type of wax combined with the fragrance to wax ratio in the candle or wax melts. The fragrance can be the most expensive cost component of candle making. For evenly burning and fragrance releasing candles and melts, the fragrance to wax ratio must be at least 1:10. Each candle and hand poured wax melt contains at least 10% of fragrance and will fill your space with a beautiful aroma for hours!Our fragrance oils are part of CandleScience "CleanScents" program and undergo rigorous testing for health and safety. We use essential oils unless a fragrance oil is specifically chosen by our customers.
