The greatest opportunity we have is to offer a unique experience for kids and families by sharing with them the story of our journey from suburban living and corporate America hustle and bustle to simple, purposful living on a homestead. God has blessed us with this property in so many ways and Joe and I and our three boys are excited to teach and share it with others!

We ask for a group of 8-12 kids per tour. The tours last about 2 hours and include a walking tour of the property, barns and time with the animals. We'll teach about keeping horses, goats, chickens and cattle. All of our animals are friendly and there will be opportunities to:

  • Pet and feed the animals
  • Play with our baby goats
  • Ride the miniature pony
  • Taste fresh honey off the comb (in season)
  • Drive our tractor
  • Egg hunt to collect chicken eggs
  • Gaga Pit - built by the boys in our summer camp program
  • Learn about medicial herbs
  • Pick strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, raspberries (when in season and available)
  • Milk a Goat
  • Sample or purchase Goat Milk & Tallow skincare products...and more!

We are NOT a commercial farm or a nonprofit so we do not have access to grants or subsidies available to most nonprofit farms. This is intentional due to the amount of government oversite and red-tape that comes along with the 501c3 status. However, we do not charge a fee for tours but do appreciate any donations that you may feel led to make (although certainly not required).

Our primary purpose is to share an experience with others and encourage and inspire children and adults alike!

Please bring lunch, sunscreen and closed toe shoes!

You'll find that we are a simple family, laid back and grateful to have an opportunity to share our life and homestead with others. We do not "stick to a schedule" and are happy to see kids playing on the swingset or in the gaga pit while others might want to pet the animals or pick strawberries. Please email info@waymacres.com with any questions! We're looking forward to your visit!
